Choose your preferred package on our Dubai Desert Safari page and send your travel date, number of guests and pickup location on WhatsApp. We will confirm availability and the pickup plan.
Yes, many Star Dunes packages can be confirmed on WhatsApp with pay-on-arrival options. If a specific private tour or ticket needs an advance payment, we explain it before you confirm.
Send your travel date, total guests, pickup hotel or area and the package you are interested in. If children are travelling, include their ages so we can recommend the right option.
Pickup and drop-off are available on eligible safari and private-tour packages. The exact pickup area and vehicle type depend on the package selected.

The Desert Safari Experience

What happens during the safari, what is usually included and what guests should expect.

Depending on the package, inclusions can cover 4×4 pickup and drop-off, red-dune bashing, camel riding, sandboarding, a sunset photo stop, BBQ dinner, soft drinks and live camp entertainment. Always check the selected package for exact inclusions.
An evening safari normally takes several hours from pickup to drop-off. Total duration changes with pickup area, traffic, desert activities and the camp schedule.
Many red-dune experiences operate in the Lahbab desert area, known for high red dunes. The exact operating area can vary by package and conditions.
Dune bashing is operated by experienced desert drivers in 4×4 vehicles. Guests should follow the driver’s instructions and tell us before booking if anyone has a condition that may make dune bashing unsuitable.
Camel riding and sandboarding are included in many safari packages. The exact duration and availability depend on the package, so check the inclusions before booking.

Simple practical guidance for families, children and guests visiting the desert for the first time.

Yes, families with children can join. The suitability of dune bashing depends on the child’s age and comfort, so send the children’s ages when booking.
Pregnant guests, very young babies, and guests with significant back, neck, heart or recent-surgery concerns should ask for a gentler or non-dune-bashing option and seek medical advice if unsure.
Wear light, comfortable clothing and secure footwear. In cooler months bring a light jacket for the evening. Avoid footwear that makes walking on sand difficult.
Bring your phone or camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medication and a light layer in winter. Keep unnecessary luggage and valuables to a minimum.
Desert safaris operate year-round. Cooler months are more comfortable outdoors; summer tours are hotter and require extra hydration and sun protection.
